Two year old champ Midshipman returns to racing at Belmont on Friday September 18, how do you think he'll run?

Workouts looks like they're saying he's ready but a pretty tough spot for his return, only five other horses entered in the field, but two of them, Just Ben and Storm Play have ran Beyer's in the 109-110 range:

Wow... the 2 year old champion colt who won the BC Juvenile is only the morning line 3rd choice in his 3 year old debut. Even considering that he's coming off an injury, that's a very interesting statistic.
I have no reason to doubt Midshipman. Godolphin has been quite the powerhouse in New York recently. The other horses in the race look pretty good, but Midshipman has experience in three GI races, winning twice and finishing second in the other. Although he's trying dirt for the first time, it's a switch from synthetic in California where he didn't have a choice of surface to dirt. He's sired by Unbridled's Song who was a fine dirt horse and who produces fine dirt offspring. His dam was a dirt horse too. If he stays at 3-1, I might be tempted to place a wager on him.
