What is the best equipment to use for home recording?
I want to record vocals at home and get rid of background noise, and have a clear recording
So here are a couple questions I need help on:
Which is better to record with to have "studio" quality recordings and remove background noise: A usb Condenser Microphone or NON usb Condenser Mic? Or other type of mic?
And what mixer is best used to have background-free recording? and at a cheap price too?
Or if a mixer is isn't needed, than what is needed to go with the mic?
and is adobe audition needed for a Professional Recording?
I have audacity and I don't think i need it...or do I?
I'm still a little new to this, and i need all the help i can get

Oh what I do have right now is a Pop Filter, toshiba laptop, and a Shure 8900 Mic with a wind filter, but it's a Dynamic Mic.
uhh, im not sure about the technolgy stuff but it sounds like you got some good equipment. as long as you pad the walls so theres no echo it should sound good. i saw someone who had just a matress on tv and they said it actually worked, so just try that

Degrease a gas-grill lid before trying to repaint
Q:We have a permanently installed gas grill that is about 30 years old. It does not get a lot of use. For a number of years, the interior paint on the lid has had flakes and chips. I scrape it, use a wire brush and steel wool to clean it, and rinse it with water. After a few days of drying, I spray it with black heat-resistant paint. It looks good for a year or so, then the flaking starts again.
