Wired Microphone

Wired Microphone
electric 3 wire microphone?

I am a novice electronics hobbist and I am stuck. How do I connect a small 3 wire microphone to my project? I assume one lead +, 1 lead -
My problem is where does that third wire go.
There is 1 yellow lead, 1 blue lead, and coming out of the blue lead is another small strand of wire.

I am pretty new at this and this is probably pretty stupid but hey its just a hobby. Gotta learn somehow, Thanks very much for any help you can provide.

Yellow is power, blue is signal and braided is ground. connect the yellow to the + supply, braided to - or ground and the blue to the + side of C1, and you may want to remove R1. It may work but what they are asking for is a resistive element with two wires and you are using an active element with three wires.
